Honeymoon Planning

Everyone knows that a successful wedding take a great deal of planning. In many a young woman’s case she’s spent years preparing. But chances are though she’ll have the wedding planned out she will have left the details of the honeymoon to her leading man. This is supposed to be a very special time and it deserves the same level of attention the ceremony does. So, for those who need a little push in the planning department, consider the following suggestions.

Think of your honeymoon as a big trip you’re going on, because that’s what it is! Long before the wedding date arrives, work out where you’d like to go – a place that you will both enjoy. Think of what you want to see and what you want to do. Make this decision in advance since you will need to make reservations someplace long before it’s time to go.

Remember that whatever you plan the idea is to spend time together. Your plans can be anything from walking on the beach to hang gliding, just don’t take off and work in 9 holes without her! But if you both like to golf, then plan on teeing off at the same time. Whatever it is, have fun!

I’ll assume I don’t need to remind you to plan plenty of time in the honeymoon suite together – but just in case, consider this your reminder. But since you will be doing many memorable things together outside the suite you don’t want to forget to bring a camera. This is a time you’ll want to remember forever, so take lots of pictures.
